Personal Trainer Hamilton-Eddie Warne

Hi Leslie,
I’d like to take this opportunity to express my complete satisfaction and
give you feedback on my personal training sessions with Eddie. I have completed 14 personal trainer sessions
- nearly 2 months training.
I started with Eddie after 2 months of self training at Phoenix Fitness Hamilton,
after many years of inactivity. I didn’t have a specific goal in mind in
terms of loss of weight, body shape, fitness etc. I had expressed a desire
to train for a 15km race in March next year.
Ed started with proper education on dynamic stretching, prior to my starting training for my running training. This has decreased my recovery time from my running training as well as increased my pace times.
Eddie has worked hard at improving my overall fitness but has also pinpointed areas which have led to specific fitness improvements in areas
long lost. I had poor ankles, knees and stability (physical not mental!).
Eddie has developed a routine during our training sessions, which I have taken home with me, which has drastically improved my lower joint stability
and strength. This has been great and has improved my running as well.
We add in cardio workouts which are varied and challenging. Ed knows how to get me to max out, with out dying!
Ed’s knowledge of the various strength training routines has helped me develop a better tone and especially core stability and strength. I particularly appreciate Ed’s ability to push me when I am capable, but backs off when I am reaching exhaustion or have a potential to get hurt.
The strength, cardio and stability work has helped me focus my development,
without becoming too obsessed with weight or ‘muscles’. Ed has also freely
shared training information from other sources, including lending me a training watch to try out.
To maximize my sessions for training, Eddie has also worked out a schedule of sessions for the coming months.
Overall, I have been extremely pleased having worked with Eddie and looking forward to the new year. Please feel free to pass this on to him.
