Keeping Resolutions!!!

Like many people, I made a New Years Resolution this year to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle and the first personal-training-client-jill-thomson2step in doing that was to get off my butt and hit the gym.  Having been a Phoenix Fitness Hamilton member previously, I was aware of their quality services and welcoming atmosphere so it was clear that I would be returning when the time was right.  And that time is NOW !!!

I first met with Leslie, Fitness Consultant, in mid January to have my fitness asessment completed and I was able to talk to her openly about my goals in weight loss and getting prepared for the upcoming baseball season that I avidly participate in.  Leslie was friendly and gave me suggestions on how to meet my goals and suggested a petrsonal trainer to get my goals into check.

I was paired up with my trainer Mike and got started the very next day.  Mike has been a hard but fair trainer who pushes me every time I meet with him.  Since I started training with Mike, I have notice changes in myself both physically and mentally.  Others have noticed too!!!  My training sessions are different every time to ensure that my body does not become complacent and,  having some sport-specific training included with my sessions, makes it more enjoyable.

I  will continue to meet with Mike twice a week and get in at least two more times on my own. Here’s to keeping resolutions!!
